Living and working with other people, in multicultural environments, in positions where communication is important and situations where teamwork is essential (for example culture and sports), etc.
I have extensive experience in working in large research centers and laboratories including the world-famous Frederick Seitz Materials Research Laboratory of UIUC. During my Ph.D., I directly worked with 30+ researchers and staff members from 10+ different countries on numerous research projects. I am currently the PI of METU Nanomechanics Lab. and I advise 10+ full time graduate students from 4 different countries.

ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCES
Coordination and administration of people, projects and budgets; at work, in voluntary work (for example culture and sports) and at home, etc.
I have extensive experience in leading research projects. I have completed 10 funded research projects during 2015-2021. I am currently the PI of three national and one international research projects (ongoing). I support 5 graduate students through these projects. In the meantime, I am the web site and social media coordinator of the Department of Mechanical Engineering in Middle East Technical University.

I have extensive knowledge on materials characterization. I have hands-on experience exceeding 7500 hours in total on the following techniques: Electron microscopy (SEM, TEM, FIB), other analytical techniques (X-ray diffraction, Rutherford backscattering spectrometry, Differential Scanning Calorimetry), lithography-based microfabrication of MEMS, physical vapor deposition, polymer-based 3D printing.
