REQUIREMENTS NOTICE

As explained earlier 13 ESRs will be doing their Ph.D. at GU, 4 at
METU, 3 at ITU and 2 an IZTECH under the supervision of selected
supervisors. In addition to general eligibility criteria, those supervisors ● Potential ESRs can apply via the following link:

The selection process will be carried out in four different steps:

10 1 Eligibility Check:

This will be conducted by the PMT.

13 2 External Evaluation:
14 GRE≥157 This will be done by Scientific Evaluation Committee (SEC) which will be
GPA≥3/4.00, (MSc.), composed of fifty experts in the field. They will be in charge of evaluating the

TOEFL/IBT ≥ 86 3 Interviews:

METU GPA≥3/4.00, (MSc.) hosting universities (GU, METU, ITU, IZTECH).
TOEFL/IBT ≥ 84 4 Final Scoring and Ranking:
18 GRE≥158 and/or equivalent of this score of GAT PMT will produce the final ranking.
19 ITU GPA≥3.00/4.00, (MSc.), UGGPA≥2.7/4.00 (BSc.) After the final ranking list is produced, those ranked as ESRs will be
20 TOEFL/IBT ≥ 79 asked to sign an acceptance letter within a period of 15 days to secure
their fellowship. It is ensured that there will be no discrimination against
21 GRE≥158 researchers on the basis of gender. Therefore, women are encouraged
22 IZTECH GPA≥3.00/4.00, (MSc.), UGGPA≥2.7/4.00 (BSc.) to apply. It is ensured that equality and non-discrimination principles,
